Hexagram 47 depicts a donkey laden with too much weight standing on a dry cracked lake bed. It’s a combination of the trigram lake over the trigram water the image being a lake which has drained. The meaning is oppression and exhaustion, poor donkey. This was a composite of the donkey, a dry lake bed, the ocean behind and the cinder blocks and boulder. The challenge was matching the perspective and light on the constituent parts.
