About Me
I’ve been making websites since the dial up days, first out of curiosity in the late ’90s, and professionally since 2008. I’m based right here in Ferndale, and I think that matters. If you’re a North Coast business, you deserve someone local who actually knows this community.
My path here was a little roundabout. I came up as a fine artist, earning a BFA in painting and printmaking and Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University and somewhere along the way discovered I could apply that same eye for design and composition to the web. Turns out the two things have a lot in common.
One of my earliest professional projects was building a Drupal site for Chadwick Orchids, which helped them become a widely recognized resource in their niche. That site is still running. I made the full switch to WordPress in 2016, and these days I specialize in building with WordPress’s own native block editor which means no clunky page builders, no extra licensing costs, and no technical headaches waiting for you down the road.
