FAQ

How long does it take?

Most projects are ready in 2–3 weeks depending on volume and tape condition.

Do I get my tapes back?

Yes, everything is returned after digitization.

What if my tape is damaged?

Light issues often transfer fine. Mold or severe damage may need special handling; I’ll advise before work begins.

How do you deliver files?

Secure cloud link by default; USB available at pickup.

Can you transfer Hi8 or MiniDV tapes?

At this time I only handle VHS and VHS-C. Hi8 and MiniDV require different playback decks, but I may offer these formats in the future.

Can you improve the quality?

Yes, gentle color balance and noise reduction are included in enhanced/archival tiers. I avoid over-sharpening and artifacts.
